Sail and Life Training Society (SALTS)

 Terms

We give young people (age 13-25) the opportunity to develop their confidence, character, and teamwork skills while sailing traditional tall ships on the west coast of British Columbia.

1. Young people from all walks of life are welcome aboard our ships and we believe that every person has intrinsic value.
2. We believe that love is the greatest cause in the world, and that our highest calling is to love one another.
3. We invest in the lives of young people when we teach them how to sail and navigate a tall ship. Overcoming challenges at sea brings us together as a genuine community and enables personal growth.

We will build another tall ship and ensure the safe and sustainable operation of three ships to provide life changing mentorship programs for young people both coastally and offshore.

To develop the spiritual, relational, and physical potential of young people through sail training, shipboard life, and associated activities in a Christian environment.
