No Borders Animal Rescue Society’s Pub Night Fundraiser

Greater Vancouver Firefighters Hall of Flame Calendar Selection Party
Saturday, June 2nd| 7:00 pm – 10:30 pm @ The Roxy Cabaret, Vancouver, BC
The Hall of Flame Calendar is in it’s 31st year, and it is truly a labour of love. Each year, professional firefighters volunteering as models, a volunteer citizen production team and a VFCS member management team donate thousands of hours of their time to make the calendar a success. Regional Ecumenical Sponsorship Team’s REST Fest
Saturday, June 2nd| 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm @ St. Clements Anglican Church, North Vancouver, BC
This fundraising concert will raise funds to sponsor 7 people to come to Canada! These people are from Iraq, Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Syria. 100% of funds raised will be used for housing and food for these newcomers during their first year in Canada. Buy your ticket here.
World Oceans Day: English Bay Beach Clean-Up

Join Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS-BC) and the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup at English Bay Beach on World Oceans Day to celebrate our oceans and take an active role in protecting them! World Refugee Day – Forced to Flee Simulation

In recognition of World Refugee Day, the Inter-Cultural Association of Greater Victoria (ICA) is hosting a series of “Forced to Flee” simulations created by the Canadian Foodgrains Bank. During the simulations, participants will work together in “family units,” making difficult decisions to maintain their supply of food, money, and health while securing their future post-conflict. Cerebral Palsy Association of B.C.’s Adapted Yoga

Adapted yoga offers a safe, calm environment for youth and adults with physical disabilities to practice meditative breathing and movement. Fashion Revolution: Who Made My Clothes

Synergy Sustainability Institute and (Ag)+(Au) Clothing have teamed up to host an event that will open your eyes to how clothes are made and the impacts those clothing has on our planet.
