Fight 4 The Cause

Saturday, December 2nd | 6 pm @ Carson Hall

Social boxing, community involvement and red carpet combine to make an unforgettable evening. This event will be catered by the master chefs of the Fairmont Empress Hotel. This will be the time to look your best while knowing that at the same time you are giving back to your community. Reaching Out Assisting Refugees (ROAR) Burger & Beer Fundraiser

Saturday, December 2nd | 6:30 pm @ The Queens, Nanaimo

This is a fundraiser to bring LGBTQ+ people to safety on Vancouver Island. The fabulous drag queen Miss Vikki Smudge is organizing the entertainment and MCing the evening. There will also be a silent auction. Tickets are $20.00 each and include a burger, fries and one drink. You can buy your tickets here.

IEOA Truck Light Convoy and Food Drive benefiting the Mustard Seed

Saturday, December 2nd | 5:45 pm @ Victoria

The annual truck light parade comes to Victoria on December 2nd. Cement trucks, dump trucks, slingers, crane trucks, fire trucks, buses and more will form a convoy of the most colourful collection of vehicles ever seen. There will be several food collection points around the city days before, during and after the event. A can here, a box of cereal there go a long way in supporting families that need a hand. To date, the Truck Light Convoy has raised thousands of pounds of food and money for the Mustard Seed. For more information, click here.

Swan Lake Christmas Hill Nature Sanctuary Winemaker’s Dinner

Saturday, December 2nd | 5:30 pm @ Dunlop House Restaurant

Camosun College Hospitality Event Management students in partnership with the Long Table Series and Blue Grouse Estate Winery, present a Winemaker’s Dinner, in support of the Swan Lake Christmas Hill Nature Sanctuary. Join us on Saturday evening, December 2nd, at the Dunlop House Restaurant, located at 1960 Lansdowne Road, for a four- course meal with wine pairings, devised by Michelin star trained Chef of the Long Table Series, James Day. The REInvestors + WREN Christmas Mixer

Wednesday, December 6th | 6:30 pm @ The Robert Bateman Centre

Come join The REInvestors and WREN at their annual Christmas Charity Mixer. Grab some appies, a drink, and mingle with like-minded investors and service providers! 100% of all ticket profit and donations will go towards The Robert Bateman Center and local Christmas Charities. GG Society’s 5th Annual Charity & Cocktails

Thursday, December 7th | 6:30 pm @ The Parkside Hotel

This year the Good Game Charity Society will be raising money for the Rainbow Kitchen. The Rainbow Kitchen provides a nutritious, tasty hot lunch meal to 125-140 people per day. Doors open at 6:30pm and tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door, but 20 non-perishable items of food will also be accepted as entry into the event! Pancakes in Pajamas with SANTA

Santa Claus is coming to town…and he wants to have breakfast with YOU! Enjoy a delicious brunch in your pajamas with Santa while you decorate cookies, make holiday crafts and grab a family photo with the man himself. yoUnlimited Christmas Giving Event 2017

Saturday, December 16th | 1 pm @ Elate Cosmetics

The Victoria Women’s Transition House provides supportive, transitional housing for single women aged 45 to 65 who have left abusive relationships.  This year yoUnlimited will celebrate these women’s resiliency and tenacity for moving forward in their lives by creating a ‘giving circle’ – we are asking the members of our community to join us and bring items to prepare gift bags for these women, which will be delivered to them for Christmas morning. The Huron Carol benefiting the Mustard Seed

Monday, December 18th | 7 pm @ Centennial United Church

Actor, singer and lifetime philanthropist Tom Jackson celebrates 30 years of cross-Canada fundraising with a new program – Tom Jackson’s Christmas 150. Tom describes it as a collection of stories and songs personally gathered over a half century of travel from sea to sea to sea. A journey of all things Canadian, and all things Christmas, this series of “firsts” and “favourites” and “rituals” are captured in a blend of theatre, tossed with a dash of humour and complemented by video design. Gingerbread Showcase benefiting Habitat for Humanity Victoria

Saturday, November 18th through to Tuesday, January 2nd | 9 am – 9 pm @ The Parkside Hotel

This event brings together professional and amateur bakers from across Vancouver Island. This year’s theme is Celebrating Canada! What does Canada mean to you? Its people, its buildings, its landscapes, its iconic symbols? The bakers are busy creating their masterpieces! 100% of the donations will help build a home for a family living in need of a safe, decent place to live. Last year, more than $50,000 was raised!
