This year, Lawn Summer Nights Victoria celebrated its fifth anniversary in style. Over four evenings of July, you could find costume-coordinated teams with their best lawn bowling skills in hand, ready to duel it out for the 2017 Victoria lawn bowling champion title.
This year, the ‘Lawnzo Bowls’ took home the crown, while everyone raised funds in support of Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
Over $100,000 Raised at Lawn Summer Nights Victoria 🎉
We’re proud to say that after thousands of drinks, hundreds of meals, many games of lawn bowling, eight corporate bowls teams, four summer nights (including two themed evenings: one fiesta night and one Kentucky derby evening), one mega silent auction, a huge round of applause to our sponsors and a priceless summer event… Lawn Summer Nights Victoria did it! The Victoria Lawn Summer Nights chapter has raised $100,201 for Cystic Fibrosis Canada (and the final tally isn’t even in yet)!
Cheers to everyone who was a part of this huge milestone in Victoria.
With endless fun, games and FUNdraising, this event is for everyone. With new food to try weekly, lawn bowling for those who want to try something new or showcase their athletic side, speeches to learn about Cystic Fibrosis, drinks for the social butterfly(ies) and friendly competition to keep everyone on their toes. Lawn Summer Nights began as a tribute and now it allows others to support their friends and loved ones.
All Benefiting Cystic Fibrosis Canada
Since its foundation in 2009, Lawn Summer Nights has helped to raise more than $2 million across Canada with more than 41 events and 5,000 participants.
